Robyn Rihanna Fenty, also known as Rihanna is a Barbadian artist and songwriter. She has brought us hit songs such as Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. In her prime, Rihanna is now one of the music's top artist. She was born in Barbados and had a childhood filled to reggae. After she learned to sing, she became an accomplished singer. Her discontent was caused by the turmoil within her home and the constant disagreements among her parents. So she began to get involved in music. When she was still in high school she was a part of a band group and was invited to perform to be a part of Evan Rodgers. The producer was extremely impressed by the talents of this young lady. He suggested that she make the move into New York in order to take on a full-time job as a singer which she gladly did. Rihanna became an instant hit after her debut album debuted on the shelves. her sultry foot-tapping tracks became the hot favorites of the youngsters motivating her to get into film as well. Talented and young, Rihanna has been viewed as a teenage idol as well as a fashion icon. Rihanna is also involved in helping charities and uses her celebrity status to benefit charities.
