Linda Edna Cardellini's parents include businessmen Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). They were born in Redwood City in California. Her parents are of Italian, German (from the paternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descendance. Linda was the eldest child of four living in San Francisco Bay, California. Acting became her passion when she was ten years old when she played a role as a vocalist in the annual Christmas show at school. Her school involvement continued with productions and community theater. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. After graduating, she had to make a decision about whether she wanted to go into New York to pursue theater or Los Angeles to pursue film and television. Following her graduation, she was required to decide whether or not to pursue television and film in Los Angeles. Linda was cast in her first part on the series Bone Chillers (1996). In 1999, she was offered her first big role as Lindsay Weir on the show Freaks and Geeks. Lindsay Weir played the academic decathlete on the show that is renowned and was awarded one Emmy Award.

Lily James is a stage name for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born the 5th of April, 1989. Her career began as an British actor in Just William (2010), a British show on British television. Cinderella was her breakout part after her role as the character Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James then played Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. She has also starred in many films including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018. She also appeared in The Dig 2021, as and musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday 2019 We Go again (2018) and Yesterday 2019 Pam & Tommy, a biographical series on television based upon the story of Pamela Anderson (released in 2022) has earned her nominations for a Golden Globe Award winner and an Primetime Emmy Award.
