Mary McCormack
Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her roles as a central character in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Her other roles include her movie roles in "Private Parts," "Deep Impact', 'True Crime' and '1408'. She was born to a clinical therapist and an ice cream restaurant owner, McCormack hails from a family with no direct links to the field of entertainment. After her parents divorced in 1990, she enrolled at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with a BA in Comparative Arts. Her career began at the age of 12 by performing in the stage production , 'Amahl and the Night Visitors, which was a Christmas-themed operetta. She performed in theatre, and eventually landed part-time roles, both on the smaller screen as well as on the big. McCormack, today recognized as one of the most versatile Hollywood artist. She has three daughters who are with her husband, producer/director Michael Morris.
